Free Zembly Training: Easily Create & Host Social Applications

Social networking is rapidly growing with hundreds of millions of users participating over the popular social network platforms such as Facebook, MySpace, orkut, Meebo, etc.  These social network platforms have emerged as one of the viable development and deployment platforms of applications.

In this hands-on lab, you will learn how to build these social applications using a technology called "zembly".  “zembly” allows users to easily create and host social applications of all shapes and sizes, targeting the most popular social platforms on the web.  You can think of "zembly" as a Wikipedia for social applications.  Using "zembly", you can easily and instantly create social applications using only your browser, participate and collaborate with others, use the richness of popular web APIs, and publish your social applications to multiple social platforms with a single click.   In the first half of this hands-on lab, you will learn how to build services and widgets that make up a social application.  In the latter part of the lab, you will learn how to build and publish Facebook applications step by step.
